How the PMGC 2026 field comes together
Regional points tables account for much of the field. National circuits, the International Cup and special allocations follow different rules.

Overview
There is more than one route into the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship. Most regions build a season-long PMGC points ranking. China, South Korea, Japan and India are excluded from that ladder and use their own circuit allocations.
The International Cup adds another cross-border route. So the starting point is a team’s region or qualifying competition, not a worldwide score. Two teams can reach the same championship through different events and start at different stages.
Finish inside your region’s points cut.
For points regions, the season combines PMGO regional and Main Event awards from both seasons with points from the World Cup. The top eligible teams in each regional table take that region’s allocation. South Asia’s listing, for example, gives its top three a route into the League Stage.
Sportskeeda’s PMGC 2026 slot report gives MENA six places, Southeast Asia and Türkiye five each, EECA and the Americas four each, South Asia three, Western Europe two and Africa one: thirty in all. Each number is a regional allocation, not a seed or a named team.
National competitions and crossover places.
The same report gives China three places and South Korea, Japan and India one each, through their own national competitions. It adds two International Cup places and one host-country place. Each route follows its own qualifying event and eligibility rules.
The International Cup brings together India, South Korea and Japan. Its listed champion receives a Gauntlet place and its runner-up a Group Stage place. Krafton’s published scenarios explain how places transfer when a team has already qualified; the final result must be read alongside those eligibility rules.
A champion’s ticket still needs a seed.
S2G Esports’ World Cup title is the special-route example. The current championship listing also marks points-region teams, including 4Thrives and Sharper Esports, as guaranteed qualifiers. Their places are secure; their entry-stage seeds still have to come from the championship allocation.
Keep a qualified-team list separate from a regional points table. The list answers who has a ticket; the table explains how teams pursuing points are ordered. Combining them without applying eligibility rules can double-count a place.
Lahore and the India circuit are key checkpoints.
The Season 2 Global Open Main Event is scheduled for 20–25 October in Lahore. Its points awards can still alter the regional race. BMSD and BMIC, meanwhile, determine India-linked routes on a separate calendar running into early November.
