How Pakistani teams qualify for PMGC 2026

Pakistan competes on South Asia’s cumulative points table. Host places get teams into PMGO; the regional ranking decides their route to PMGC.

Overview

The Pakistan-to-PMGC route runs through South Asia. In the cited regional points listing, the top three teams on the cumulative South Asia table qualify for the PMGC League Stage.

There is no separate automatic Pakistan ticket attached to hosting the Global Open. A Pakistan Open host berth lets a team play PMGO Season 2. What it earns there contributes to the regional race.

Five results build one regional table

The 2026 points route adds awards from Season 1 regional finals, the Season 1 Main Event, the PUBG MOBILE World Cup, Season 2 regional finals and the Season 2 Main Event. Regional allocations are compared within South Asia, rather than on a single worldwide board.

These awards are PMGC qualification points, not match scores or prize money. The Season 2 winner awards are larger than their Season 1 equivalents, leaving substantial movement possible late in the year.

Lahore’s column is still empty

Before Lahore, the refreshed record gives Horaa 116 points and Trained to Kill 106. With 150 available to the Main Event winner, the final column can make a considerable difference for teams still chasing a place.

LF has 34, while 777’s entry has no earlier scoring awards listed. A total of 280 for 4Thrives is complete through the first four scoring events, not the end of the season. Lahore will add the fifth.

Kathmandu secured places in Lahore

4Thrives, Trained to Kill and Horaa Esports took the three South Asia Main Event berths at the Season 2 regional final. They also earned 120, 80 and 55 regional PMGC points respectively.

The 120 from Kathmandu took 4Thrives to 280 before Lahore. The current PMGC participant listing marks them as guaranteed to qualify regardless of their Season 2 Main Event finish. The remaining regional places are still a separate race.

What the Pakistan Open changes

LF Esports and 777 Esports earned the two host places at the Pakistan Open. That creates an entry route beyond the South Asia Finals qualifiers.

The host route does not create two extra South Asia PMGC places. A host qualifier still needs to produce a Main Event result that helps its cumulative regional position.
